B.F.A. in Piano Performance - Indiana University in Pennsylvania; M.M. in Piano Performance - the American Conservatory in Chicago;
studied with Abraham Stockman. Suzuki training with Ray Landers. Pianist for Chicago 20th Century Music Ensemble. Featured guest
artist with Cube New Music Ensemble of Chicago. Performer and clinician at Indiana State University. Piano instructor at the Wellington
Suzuki Institute in Wellington, New Zealand. Featured on the recently-released CD, Of Time and Place” on the Capstone label.
Parent of a Suzuki-Orff student.
Malgorzata (Gosia) Bagley · Suzuki Piano Instructor (since 1999)
B.M. and M.M. in Piano Performance - DePaul University School of Music. Studied with Mary Sauer, principal pianist
of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Received Suzuki teacher training at the Chicago Suzuki Institute with Doris Koppelman
and Fay Adams. Taught individual traditional and Suzuki method lessons in the DCFS Pathways to Development Program for foster
children for three years. Writes and edits Piano Explorer Magazine in Northfield, IL.

B.M. in Music Education - St. Paul College Conservatory of Music in Manila, Philippines. Kodaly certified, receiving training in Manila,
Philippines and at the Kodaly Institute of Music in Kecskemet, Hungary. Orff and Dalcroze teacher training at DePaul University.
Taught children’s choir, directed musical plays, and taught instrumental music (piano, organ). Currently works as Youth Music
Director and Christian Educator at Edison Park United Methodist Church in Chicago. Also teaches at the Music Institute of Chicago.
Breana Bauman · Suzuki Violin Instructor (since 2007)
Breana Bauman has been a lifelong Suzuki student, beginning at age 5 in the Cincinnati Public Schools with Kathy Merrill and finishing at
the Cleveland Institute of Music with Kimberly Meier-Sims and a Master's degree in Suzuki Pedagogy and Violin Performance, with Stephen
Rose of the Cleveland Orchestra. Breana also studied with Kyung Sun Lee and Gregory Fulkerson at the Oberlin Conservatory, where she earned
her Bachelor's Degree. An avid chamber musician, Breana has worked with Peter Salaff of the Cleveland Quartet, Roger Chase of the Nash Ensemble
and Chicago Chamber Players, the Cavani Quartet, and the St. Petersburg Quartet. In 2005, Breana appeared as a soloist with the National Repertory
Orchestra in Breckenridge Colorado and then went on to study with soloist Philippe Graffin in Paris and Brussels. While abroad, Breana studied
pedagogy with Christophe Bossuat, Director of the Suzuki Program in France. She has spent her summers at the Aspen Music Festival, Wethersfield
Music Festival, National Repertory Orchestra and Henry Mancini Institute. This summer she will be working with Plácido Domingo and Kent Nagano
as associate concertmaster of the Youth Orchestra of the Americas, touring Europe and Brazil.
Jim Baur · Suzuki Guitar Instructor (since 2001)
B.M. and M.M. in Classical Guitar Performance - Northwestern University. Studied with Anne Waller and performed in masterclasses with
Oscar Ghiglia, Pepe Romero, Manuel Barrueco, Paul O’Dette, and Scott Tenant. Began Doctoral Studies in Guitar Performance at
Northwestern University this September. Member of The Avanti Duo. First Prize winner in Guitar in the 1998 Society of American Musicians
Competition. World Premiere performances for Chicago composers Bjorn Berkhout and Robert McDonald. Performing on the Dame Myra Hess
Memorial Concert Series. Also teaches at Lake Forest College and The Lake Forest Symphony Music School. Current projects include two CDs:
Made of String and another of works by Chicago composers.
