Michel Chatara-Morse · Suzuki Guitar Instructor (since 2005)
B.A. in Music - University of Puget Sound. Expects to earn Masters Degree from Roosevelt University/Chicago College of Performing Arts in spring 2006.

Scott Dankert – Staff Accompanist and Instructor of Musicianship, Piano and Flute (Since 2000)
B.M. Michigan State University.  Former member of Civic Orchestra of Chicago. 1996 Semi-finalist in the National Flute Association Piccolo Artist Competition. Former flutist with the Grater Lansing Symphony Orchestra and Midland Syphony Orchestra.

Aubrey Faith-Slaker · Suzuki Piano Instructor & Baby Steps® Instructor (since 2007)
B.M. In Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy with minor in Organ Performance - University of Illinois. M.M. In Piano Performance and Pedagogy with studies in Music Therapy - Southern Methodist University. Received Suzuki Training at the Chicago Suzuki Institute studying under Caroline Fraser and Doris Koppelman. Studied Spanish Art, Music, and Architecture - CEGRI, Granada, Spain. Maintained private traditional and group piano studio for five years teaching theory, music history, music appreciation, and piano to children and adults in Colorado and Wyoming. Active chamber music performer in Wyoming and the Chicago area.

Rolando Freitag · Suzuki Violin Instructor (since 2005)
B.M. in Violin - Shenandoah University. M.M. in Violin - Penn State University. Registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas to teach Books 1-10. Former director of the Talent Education Program at the Community Music School in Allentown, PA. Extensive orchestral and chamber performances in violin and viola.

Kimberly Galva · Suzuki Violin Instructor (since 2004)
B.A. in Neuroscience - Oberlin College. Began work this year on a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance at DePaul University. Performed at the Heifetz Summer Festival. Plays with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for the past two years. Also teaches at DePaul Community Music School’s Pathways to Development program for foster children.

Julie Glyman · Orff Instructor (since 2007)

Lisa Goethe-McGinn · Suzuki Flute Instructor (since 2003)
B.M. in Commercial Music - Millikin University. M.M. in Flute Performance - University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Experienced traditional and Suzuki flute instructor. Received Suzuki certification under David Gerry. Active performer and soloist throughout the U.S. and in Europe. Advocate of contemporary music and improvisation. Premiered numerous solo and chamber works. Soloist/performing member of MAVerick Ensemble and Ensemble Noamnesia. Also teaches at Sherwood Conservatory of Music.

Elisabeth Johnson · Suzuki Violin Instructor (since 2003)
B.A. in Musicology with emphasis in Violin Performance - Roosevelt University. Trained with Cyrus Forough. Studied with Mathias Tacke at Northern Illinois University. Received Suzuki training at Western Springs Talent Education Program under Edward Kreitman. Enthusiastic and active member in the field of ethnomusicology, performs music from Eastern Europe with the Chicago Klezmer Ensemble. Also teaches private studio lessons, workshops, and in public school classrooms.

Tiffany Kowalski · Suzuki Violin Instructor (since 2007)
Learned violin via the Suzuki method staring at the age of three, continued classical training throughout high school. Tiffany has performed nationally and internationally with indie-rock bands. She has written and recorded string arrangements on several albums. She has received extensive Suzuki teacher training, dedicating herself to fostering creativity and the teaching of violin.
